Gave birth in the kitchen under fire 

The village of Shestovytsia, near Chernihiv, was under the control of Russian troops since the fourth day of the Russian invasion.

Pregnant Anna, a nurse herself, realized that she would not be able to leave for the hospital to give birth because the Russian army controlled all roads. So she decided to give birth at home. She gave birth with the help of her husband in the kitchen – in the “safest” place in the house under the sounds of shelling and bombing. The daughter was named Myroslava.
